Refund and Returns
1. Overview
This Refund & Returns Policy sets out your rights to return goods purchased from the DFA website and how refunds are processed. It is designed to comply with UK consumer law, including the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and distance selling rights.
2. Your Right to Cancel (14-Day Cooling-Off Period)
Under UK law you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of:
- receiving the goods; or
- (where the order contains multiple items delivered separately) receiving the last item.
During this period, you may cancel for any reason and return the goods for a full refund.
To exercise your right to cancel, you must inform us in clear terms (e.g., email) before the 14-day period ends.

3. Return Process
To arrange a return:
Contact support@defensivefitness.co.uk OR return items to the Lead Instructor directly.
Once your return request is approved, you will receive:

- Confirmation of the return
- Instructions on where to send the goods
- You are responsible for returning the goods in original condition, unused, and in their original packaging where possible.
- You should return the goods within 14 days of notifying us you wish to cancel.
You are responsible for the cost of returning the items unless otherwise agreed in writing.
4. When a Refund Will Be Issued
We will issue a refund once we have:
- received the returned goods, or
- (if earlier) proof that you have returned the goods (e.g., tracked postage receipt)
Refunds will be processed within 14 calendar days of receipt of the returned item.
5. Refund Method
Refunds will be made using the same payment method you used to place the order, unless otherwise agreed.
6. Damaged, Faulty, or Incorrect Items
If you receive goods that are faulty, damaged, or not what you ordered:

Provide photos and a description of the issue.
We will arrange a replacement or a full refund in accordance with your legal rights.
7. Exclusions
Some products may be exempt from cancellation rights if sealed for health or hygiene reasons and opened after delivery. Where this applies, we will clearly state this on the product page.
8. Consumer Rights
This policy does not affect your statutory rights under UK law, including rights relating to defective products and goods not as described.
